The Great Midwest
I guess it takes someone from another country to make you appreciate the region you live in. Manolo, an amazing friend I made in Belgium, came to visit all the way from Motril, Spain for 3 weeks-ish. Which also meant Pilar, my roommate from Belgium took off work, as did JP — aka time for best buds reunion. Some of my best memories from abroad include these guys.

I had to read an article from Ad Age for my Contemporary TV class. It looked at 7 shows and using psychographics determined the personality traits of viewers based on their prime time TV choices. I think it’s kinda BS, but what do I know.

It's spreading...
I have a problem: the averge amount of tabs I keep open is 12. Currently its more like 30. My inbox has approx. 200 emails it in, despite that fact that I have about 20 labels. Today it infiltrated even further: I currently have 13 Word docs open. I actually surprised myself.

Rice vs Chufa

Study Break
This is how I’ve been spending is thus far:
Last Tuesday I went to Rome. I thought I wasn’t going to get a chance to go, but how could I leave Europe without seeing Rome? So I did. And it was fantastic. More bloggage on it later.
2.5 days later, with much much delay due to an unaccounted for passenger on my flight, I got back to Jhouse, dinner -with homemade cornbread- was waiting...

A major component of my trip to Turkey has been food. Everything is so amazing and way more affordable than Belgium. while in belgium, i expect to travel a lot. there’s a lot of places on my ‘to go to’ list, but one place i would never expect to end up was NYC. but sure enough, i will be there sometime within the next 90 days.
